One of the most beautiful experiences of being a teacher is watching your students take educational risks in the classroom. Developing an encouraging environment is key in order for students to feel comfortable making mistakes throughout their learning. Giving students specific praise for their efforts and giving students opportunities to openly share their struggles, strategies, and successes, has helped my students realize that making mistakes is vital to their growth.
